Chopped Stone
These types of stones are commonly used for edging flowerbeds. But they are also used for outdoor kitchens, walls, etc. There are many different sizes and colors to choose from. If you are planning to do a flowerbed, knowing your linear footage is a good start. We also give out free samples if you have trouble deciding. STONE IS A NATURAL PRODUCT AND WE HAVE NO CONTROL OVER TEXTURES OR COLORS. WE CANNOT GUARANTEE COLORS FROM LOAD TO LOAD SO PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND. THE HEIGHT AND WIDTH OF THE STONE CAN BE RELATIVELY CONTROLLED BUT THE LENGTHS OF THE STONES WILL ALL VARY. THIS IS WHY YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE YOUR MEASUREMENTS.
Estimated Coverage
- 4″ x 4″ stone will on average cover roughly 100 linear feet/ton. This depends on the type of stone as each kind has different densities.
- 4″x 6″ stone will on average cover roughly 80 linear feet/ton. This depends on the type of stone as each kind has different densities.
- On average most stone will cover roughly 35 square feet/ton. This depends on the type of stone & how it is installed.
