Important: Before visiting our location, we ask that you review Piggums Rules as he has been around the yard for a long time!
Piggums’ Rules of Classic Rock Stone Yard:
CAUTION: Please watch your step when you come to see us. It is rough terrain out here. Also, it is a good idea to wear shoes and not sandals or heels!
CHILDREN: Children must be accompanied by their parents at all times! Tractors and large trucks are frequently out and about. Plus, there are nails, chicken wire, and many other things that could be harmful to children. Accidents can easily happen out on the yard.
ANIMALS: We love animals! There are a lot of different types of animals up here on any given day. Please enjoy them and ask anything you want! However, please use common sense! Do not run right up to any of them or corner them. They may get frightened. Ask first! All the animals are friendly but they still need to have their own boundaries.
BARN: DO NOT ENTER THE BARN! This is the “Pig Zone.” Piggums and Bernice are always hanging out inside. This is where they sleep and were their food is kept. You know how pigs are when it comes to food! They consider the barn “their territory” and can be a little persnickety at times. They are friendly and do come in the office. If you do not see them while you are here and would like to, just ask! We will be happy to show them to you!
WEATHER: When it rains, be aware that it turns into a muddy mess out here! Sometimes, we are unable to get stone out due to the mud. Also, the sands are very runny and goopy so it is usually best to get those once it has dried up a little.
OUR FAMILY: We want to apologize in advance should anyone come to our shop and find us fighting. We are together a lot and get on each others’ nerves. Please ignore our behavior should you stop by on one of those days and try to remember…working with family is very difficult at times!
